Chief expands Kontour series to include arrays

Chief has expanded its Kontour series of monitor mounts to include array configurations. The modular nature of the mounts means that they can be easily modified to meet a wide range of multi-monitor arrangements.
The K3 group of mounts includes 3x1/2x1, 2x2 and 1x2 configuration options. Each comes in either free-standing or grommet-mounting styles, whilst a clamp accessory provides a third choice for installers.
The 3x1/2x1 configuration is the first of the arrays on the market and comes with many features for installers, including a telescoping lateral shift function, room for three 27-inch monitors or two 30-inch monitors and independent height-adjustable arms and centre-head functionality.
In addition, adaptable heads can be detached from telescoping arms and moved all the way toward the column, while the mounts boast a 12-degree centris tilt in each direction for each arm head and 10-degrees up and down tilt for the column mounting head.
Meanwhile, Chief has also announced that its Fusion single ceiling mounts now incorporate new CPA pinned ceiling plates.
Features include continuous tilt ranges with four set locking points that eliminate guesswork when adjusting multiple screens, simple on/off connection and tool-free latching flags to secure the display. In addition, optional padlock security is included, as is centris technology and optimisation for a wide range of display sizes.
Lastly, the manufacturer’s Fusion range of ceiling multi-display mounts is now shipping. Ceiling-mounted menu boards and video wall solutions include independent height, plumb and lateral shift adjustment knobs for precise, easy alignment, and no tools are required.
