CL Series

Based on the DE820TN, the DE850TN is a 2-inch exit, neodymium high-frequency driver, incorporating a slightly smaller magnetic circuit combined with the same low distortion 3-inch voice coil used in the 950TN.This diaphragm features a specially applied dome damping technology that reduces high-frequency anomalies. All four models use a phase plug (aluminium in the DE920/950TN and plastic in the DE820/850TN) to reduce distortion and phase issues.

Originally introduced as DE10ND, the DE5 micro driver is a small-format, neodymium high-frequency driver incorporating a 25mm aluminium coil and a Mylar diaphragm mounted in a 63mm diameter package with a 0.5-inch exit. With a sensitivity of 109dB, and a continuous power rating of 20W, the DE10ND is suited to multi-driver waveguide applications, in addition to small-format, full-range cabinets.

The CL Series feature similar performance to the woofers in the HPL series, but at a significantly lower price point. They offer an excellent alternative to similar performance ceramic magnet drivers and the initial range includes 10-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch models in a limited number of configurations from 500W to 800W continuous power.

As a result of recent B&C developments in suspension materials and geometry, the BG series of high-power, high-efficiency woofers offer low distortion and a superior DC offset performance. The FEA optimised neodymium magnet structures feature a ventilated voice coil gap that reduces power compression. Eight-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch models are currently in production offering continuous power ratings of between 500W to 2kW.
