Fane’s Colossus 18-SB is intended for use as a high-output bass driver in multiway systems.
Fane’s Colossus 18-SB is intended for use as a high-output bass driver in multiway systems. It features a 4-inch voice coil with inside and outside windings, immersed in a symmetric magnetic field yielding increased linearity and lower distortion. The Polycellulose cone membrane is stronger and more durable than conventional paper pulp alternatives. The driver handles 800W (AES) continuous and can cope with peaks in excess of 3.2kW. This is due to thermal management in the form of vented die-cast chassis and increased motor system venting. The Colossus 18SB exhibits 97.5dB sensitivity and can deliver bass down to 35Hz (-6 dB).
The Colossus 18-700N has the same intended use as the 18-SB and has many of the same features. The driver handles 800W (AES) continuous and can cope with peaks in excess of 2.8kW. The Colossus 18-700N exhibits 98dB sensitivity and can deliver bass down to 35 Hz (-6 dB).
The Sovereign 10-300 is a high-power 10-inch driver for pro-sound mid/bass applications. It can be used for midrange in a small sealed box or as a mid/bass driver in small vented boxes. The driver also benefits from inside and outside voice coil windings for cooling and power handling.
The Sovereign Pro 12-500 is intended for use in two-way ported enclosures. The driver features a die cast chassis with long throw motor system and high linearity suspension allowing. It is designed for use in 25 to 80 litre ported enclosures and features a 3-inch voice coil, with inside and outside windings.
The Sovereign Pro 15-600N is intended for use in high-power two-way ported enclosures and as a high-output bass driver in multi-way systems. It features a 3-inch voice coil immersed in a symmetric magnetic field. The driver handles 600W (AES) continuous and can cope with peaks in excess of 2.4kW. This is due to advanced thermal management in the form of vented die-cast chassis and increased motor system venting. The Sovereign Pro 15-600N exhibits an average sensitivity of 98dB and can deliver bass down to 40Hz (-6 dB) in a 125 litre ported enclosure.
