Community adds surface mount models to Distributed Design series

Community has added to its Distributed Design series with the addition of new surface mount models.
These comprise the five-inch DS5, the eight-inch DS8, and the eight-inch DS8Sub subwoofer. Described as ‘high-output, low-profile’ models, the new speakers and sub feature a modern design and are equipped with features intended to make an installers job easier.
The DS5 is a two-way compact system, and it particularly suited for installations where space is a premium. The DS8 provides higher sound pressure levels, higher sensitivity and greater bass extension, making it suited for lager installations. Meanwhile, the DS8Sub subwoofer complements the DS5 and DS8 full-range models, including an extended low frequency performance for musical applications.
The DS-Series is equipped with built-in autoformers that enable full output with 70v or 100v distribution lines. All models accommodate 8-ohm as well as 70v/100v applications with a front-accessible power tap switch located behind a rotatable logo.
Community’s Infin-A-Ball multi-angle wall mounting bracket is designed for precise positioning to facilitate low profile installation. The DS5, DS8 and DS8Sub are available in standard black or white finishes.
