Digimic enhanced by Mini Control Console
Published: PRODUCTS
Brähler has introduced the DCEn mini as its new Digimic control console. Designed for small-sized microphone management systems, such as management boards, supervisory boards and discussion sessions with recording facilities, the system is designed for up to 25 microphone stands but can be expanded using the DExt (extension) power supply to support additional stands.
The control console can be used in configuration-free mode, making it ready for operation without a computer, whilst a passive cooling feature provides noiseless operation. The console includes three key operation modes (AUT3, Float, VOX) and offers a highlight with its voice-controlled microphone activation feature.
The chairman can control the system via his microphone unit, intervening in the debate via the mute key. In addition, the system can be remote-controlled via LAN or directly via PC, including wireless and tablet-controlled operation. When combined with the new DigiVote interactive voting software, it allows interactive opinion polling directly via PowerPoint presentation, in addition to the integration of wireless VD30 DigiVote units. The DMicControl software enables individual microphone control via a touch-screen showing a geographical layout of the delegate microphones. Auxiliary connections include a line in and a line out cinch connector, a LAN port, and a balanced, adjustable line/Mic output with an XLR connector.
