Dynacord launches Corus Evolution

New from the Dynacord is the Corus Evolution loudspeaker series family.
Made up of six professional models, the new loudspeaker series is designed for the reproduction of live music and fixed installation. It comprises three full-range systems (C 12.2, C 15.2, and C 25.2) and three subwoofers (Sub 1.15, Sub 1.18, and Sub 2.18).
The C12.2 is a trapezoidal 12-inch / two-way full-range box with a power handling capacity of 500W (2000W peak). It features an SMX 2120 woofer, whilst a DH3 compression driver in a 90° x 50° constant directivity horn is responsible for the frequencies above 1650Hz. The C15.2 is a trapezoidal 15-inch / two-way full-range cabinet with a power handling capacity of 500W (2000W peak). It has an SMX 2151 woofer, whilst a DH3 compression driver in a 90° x 50° constant directivity horn is responsible for the frequencies above 1550Hz. The C 25.2 is a double-15-inch / two-way full-range box with a power handling capacity of 1000W (4000W peak) capable of delivering sound pressure levels of up to 139dB. It has two SMX 2151 woofers, whilst a ND2-8 neodymium compression driver in a rotatable 60° x 40° constant directivity horn is responsible for the frequencies above 1750Hz.
The Sub 1.15 (one 15-inch EVS-15S woofer) and Sub 1.18 (one 18-inch EVS-18S woofer) partner the C 12.2 and C 15.2 full-range boxes where extended bass reproduction is desired. Due to their integrated low-pass filters, the cabinets can be operated parallel in single-amp mode. The Sub 2.18 is a double-18-inch subwoofer capable of delivering sensitivity and max SPL figures of 102dB 1W/1m and 138dB respectively. Its power handling capacity is 1000W continuous and 4000W peak. It is designed to work with the C 25.2 for the creation of an active two-way system.
