Fairlight XE6

Fairlight has introduced a six-fader extension module for its Xynergi Media Production Centre.

The XE-6 fits the physical set-up of the Xynergi controller, adding high-quality and cost-effective tactile mixing control to the hardware platform for use in audio production tasks from recording and editing to mixing. In common with all Fairlight production systems, Xynergi runs on the ‘green’ processing power of the CC-1 digital media engine, which delivers audio processing as well as audio/video file workflow for virtually all SD and HD file formats.

The XE-6 fader extension is Fairlight’s response to customer demand for a modular system that allows users to create custom surface layouts for their needs. This building-block approach also allows the system to be extended to address changing requirements.

Xynergi has been chosen by mainstream broadcast and audio post clients, including NHK in Japan, for use in audio production work tasks including Foley, multitrack music recording, film dubbing, live to tape shop recording, ADR and media education programmes.
