Listening over Dante with the 362

Studio Technologies has manufactured the Model 362 Listen-Only Beltpack for use by on-air talent and production staff. A 2-channel beltpack device, Model 362 features Dante AoIP technologies and facilitates headphone monitoring for two audio channels from a Dante application.
The listen-only device possesses configurable audio channel routing abilities, dual level controls, a 1/4-inch and 3.5mm output jacks and driven by Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). Setup and operation is reportedly kept quick and easy, with an ehterCon RJ45 jack supplying both the power and bidirectional digital audio signal by interconnecting with a standard PoE-enabled network switch.
Model 362 is compatible with Audinate’s Dante Controller PC software that can distribute a pair of audio sources to the beltpack’s inputs. Users are able to set and maintain a level on the headphone output via two push-in/push-out rotary potentiometers. The unit’s operational status is indicted by four LEDs.
The manufacturer has ensured that Model 362 is also compatible with its other Dante-enabled products, as well as those from third party companies.
