In an effort to provide improved visual solutions for larger outdoor spaces, Martin Professional has introduced the Exterior Dot-HP, its latest LED video fixture. The product is an RGB colour mixing dot, allowing for longer fixture runs with variable pixel pitches.
The speciality of the fixture is as part of a system for running low resolution video content on the façade of buildings, such as houses of worship. It can be used for very large scale video mapping projects with viewing distances of at least 300m.
Reportedly offering brightness of up to 100 lumens, the Exterior Dot-HP is built with an IP-66 aluminium body to withstand the elements and boasts RGB and cold white light engines, three fronts (clear front, diffused dome or narrow beam lens) and a moveable mounting system. The product is also an independent fixture, running on the company’s proprietary P3 protocol.
