Mipro launches offer wireless options

Mipro has unveiled a string of new products with wireless technology at their core. The AT-100 circularly polarised antenna, MA-505 personal wireless PA system and the VT and ST Series instrument wireless mic kits are all new from the manufacturer.

The VT Series and ST Series kits reportedly provide a true wireless solution, without cables or bodypack, for instrument performers. The VT wireless set is designed for violins and violas while the ST wireless set is designed for saxophones, tubas, trombones, trumpets and clarinets. Each VT kit includes a VT-20H clamp plus an ACT-20T (VT) miniature transmitter. Each ST kit includes an SM-20H clip and ACT-20T (ST) miniature transmitter.

The MA-505 portable wireless PA system includes a one-piece speaker cabinet housing a Class-D amplifier that drives two-way loudspeakers and limiter circuitry to reduce distortion and increases intelligibility. It features a built-in diversity receiver with options for expansion to three diversity receivers or interlinking transmitter options for an extended transmission range. Various devices are also included, such as a built-in DPM-3 digital audio player and recorder, optional CDM-2 CD/USB player and Bluetooth music receiver. More features include VOP to automatically mute the music input when the microphone is used, tone control for bass/treble adjustment, alarm siren provides emergency warnings and optional echo control.

The final wireless addition to the Mipro range is the AT-100 antenna system. According to the manufacturer, the circularly polarised antenna can reduce the polarisation loss of the antenna to improve signals strength. It is optimised for 470-1,000MHz bandwidth with 6~8dBi antenna gain and certified to latest CE/FCC telecom regulations. It is waterproof and weather resistant making it ideal for both outdoor and indoor applications.

The AT-100 is an active directional antenna for transmitters or receivers with two built-in connectors: one TX/RX signal connector for either transmitter or receiver. A second RX Only receiver only connector has a built-in 12dB antenna gain booster for extended reception range and to compensate for coaxial cable signal loss.
