PMC unveils AML2 active reference monitor

The new AML2 Active Reference Monitor from PMC has added an EQ tilt, an enhanced power supply, and a revised cabinet structure with additional internal damping to the AML Series design.
Key design features include a PMC 6.5-inch flat piston woofer constructed from a carbon fibre/Nomex honeycomb, a 1.3-inch soft-dome tweeter with acoustic lens, and analogue circuit design for the amplifier licensed from Bryston. The amp power is 100W RMS for low frequencies and 80W RMS for high frequencies.
The 16kg, 400 x 200 x 368mm monitor has a usable frequency range of 33Hz to 25kHz, a crossover frequency of 1.4kHz and an effective line length of 1.7m.
