POPS 15

One Systems is now shipping three new speaker systems - the POPS 15, 112IM Sub and the POPS Sub. The POPS 15 is a powered 15-inch two-way system providing 1.6kW of bi-amped power and full DSP courtesy of the integrated Class-D amplifier and DSP module. It incorporates a woofer featuring a 4-inch voice coil, a large-diaphragm compression driver with a titanium-based diaphragm that is coupled with a High-Q constant-directivity 60° x 40° horn for delivering medium to long-throw coverage. The DSP module provides filtering and crossover functions, free-field optimised equalisation plus system dynamics and protection algorithms. The POPS 15’s enclosure is injection-moulded from a special resin designed for weather resistance and UV radiation, while the grille and rigging components are made of ultra high-grade stainless steel. The enclosure has been designed to IEC 529 / IP 56 ingress protection standards, for which its transducers, electronic switches and input and output connections meet waterproof requirements. The POPS 15 can be mounted on a standard 35mm pole mount for quick setups or mobile applications and can be safely suspended horizontally or vertically via seven M10 rigging points or wall-mounted, pole-mounted or arrayed using a range of optional accessories.

The One Systems Powered Outdoor Presentation System Sub (POPS Sub) is a powered 18-inch subwoofer system providing 1.6kW of power and full DSP in a weather- resistant enclosure. The onboard DSP module provides filtering and crossover functions, free-field optimised EQ, system dynamics and protection algorithms, together with an 80Hz high-pass filtered input that creates a tri-amped system when combined with the matching POPS 15 powered two-way system. Housed in an 18mm thick, marine-grade birch plywood, the POPS Sub is finished with a special polyurethane paint. The POPS Sub comes with four very large, heavy-duty pneumatic wheels that allow it to be easily transported across soft soil areas such as sports fields. The new subwoofer also comes with an adjustable-height, crank-up style mounting pole for elevating a full range system above. The POPS Sub comes with a special weather and moisture-resistant 3-pin XLR-XLR and AC mains cables which are supplied on cable reels to make transport and setup faster and easier.
