ProRental series benefits from extended frequency response

New additions to Kling & Freitag’s ProRental series of loudspeakers have given the system an extended low frequency response. The manufacturer has added the Gravis 8 and Gravas 15 to complement the full-range Gravis 12+, as well as four new additions to its heavy-duty Nomos series.
Based on the existing housing design, the Gravis 8 features a maximum SPL of 129dB and is designed for near-field applications or as front-fill, side-fill, or delay speakers. The Gravis 15 provides a 5dB higher SPL than the Gravis 12+, but with a similar frequency response, and the same preset 35- and 55-degree monitor angles.
As well as these updates to Gravis, the manufacturer’s beefier Nomos series has been expanded with four new models. Based on a similar heavy-duty chassis, the LS II (15-inch), LT (2x15-inch), XLS (18-inch) and XLT (2x18-inch), have been optimised for deep bass response. The housing of both the 15- and 18-inch are compatible with each other, allowing them to be combined as a cardioid system. To help with transporting the cabinets, an optional transport cover with integrated rollers can also be purchased.
