RCF expands TT+ series with three new models

The latest additions to RCF’s TT+ two-way speaker systems take the form of the TT1-A, TT2-A and TT5-A.

Beginning with the compact TT1-A, this is targeted towards live sound situations, particularly playback and monitoring. Featuring a neodymium 3-inch voice coil compression driver on a large, constant directivity precision horn, the manufacturer claims that the TT1-A ‘sets a new standard for distortion, noise and thermal efficiency’. The 800W speaker is equipped with a complete set of integrated rigging mechanics to suit a plethora of rental or installation applications.

Meanwhile, the TT2-A is said to be ideal for use as a compact two-way speaker for near-field sound reinforcement, live sound and corporate events. The speaker boasts 1,600W, two channel, digital amplification and advanced digital processing, and is equipped with a complete set of integrated rigging mechanics for a range of rental or installation applications. Dedicated accessories enabling clusters to be created are also available.

Lastly, due to a powerful 4-inch compression driver, a large sized horn and a fast woofer, out of the three the TT5-A offers the highest performance. This speaker has been optimised to act as a professional two-way speaker for mid-field and near-field sound reinforcement applications, including live performance and events.

The compression driver is reported to guarantee ‘exceptional’ sound projection and pattern control. The speaker also boasts 1,600W digital amplification, and is equipped with a complete set of integrated rigging mechanics for rental or installation use. As with the TT2-A, clusters can be created with dedicated accessories.
