Kramer Electronics is targeting presentation environments such as meeting rooms and classrooms with its KW-14 HDMI transmitter and receiver pair that provides short-range, wireless A/V distribution, noting that listed and protected building could benefit from the system not requiring the installation of cabling. The system comprises the KW-14T transmitter and KW-14R receiver.
One transmitter can distribute HDMI signal to up to four receivers and each receiver can accept up to three different signals simultaneously. The transmission range is up to 30m and can penetrate obstacles, including walls. With a 1080p resolution at 60Hz, the on-screen display is designed to offer simple setup and can be accessed via an infra-red remote control. The device offers zero latency and features Auto-Edid adjustment functionality to support multiple screens and will automatically select the most suitable RF available to avoid interference. KW-14 is HDCP compliant and includes AES-128-bit data encryption.
