Sona Sub

At ISE 2010, Kling & Freitag presented the Sona Sub, a passive subwoofer system providing bass extension for the Sona 5. It has been designed to be compact, while providing acoustic performance, flexible placement together with a variety of mounting options (floors, walls and ceilings). With its slimline dimensions and discreet visual appearance, the Sona Sub is intended to represent an interior design feature.

In addition, the mounting options of the Sona 5 cabinet include new mounting arms. The speaker is now supplied with mounting arm M, adapted and providing support for flexible walls such as stage-edge or under-balcony applications. Optionally, sizes S and L may be ordered as accessories, in which mounting arm S is suitable for installations where the box is placed near the wall, with little need of adjustment clearance. Mounting arm L has been optimised for ceiling installations and for applications upon stands.
