Studiomaster expands loudspeaker ranges with active models

Studiomaster has also expanded its NXT flat panel SR series for A/V installation applications by introducing the active AI4-A and AI6-A models, and the AI-6S-A version.
The 100W enclosures provide up to 114dB and 116dB SPL, and can be wall mounted via two M6 fixing holes or pole mounted for free-standing applications. Various images, designs or commercial information can be displayed on the front of the panels due to the inclusion of removable vinyl overlays.
The manufacturer states its self-powered AI-6S-A differs from the other units by functioning as ‘a complete performance PA package’. It comprises two speakers, stand mounts, cables and two wireless microphone transmitters, a dual channel receiver, and a USB/SD card media player.
In further news, Studiomaster has expanded upon its TRX PA series with the addition of new active TRX models. The ‘cost effective’ range has been designed for music venues, bars and clubs, touring musicians and small-to-medium hire companies.
The TRX models comprise the TRX10, TRX12, TRX15, TRX215, and the TRX15M two-way wedge stage monitor, in addition to the TRX15S, TRX18S and TRX218S sub bass models.
Additional new active models incorporate Class-H amplification and switch-mode power supplies, and comprise the TRX10A, TRX12A, TRX15A (250, 300 and 300W, respectively) and the 300W TRX15MA monitor wedge. The 600W TRX15SA, TRX18SA and TRX218SA subs (700, 700 and 1,400W, respectively) complete the series.
