Tasker combines power with audio for streamlined installation

The latest cable from Italian manufacturer Tasker, the C294, is a DMXKomby cable comprising four AES/EBU digital audio 110-ohm lines and an integrated three-wire (earth, live and neutral) 2.5 mm² power cable, therefore providing power and audio over a single cable. The manufacturer states that the C294 is ideal for broadcast installations, TV and recording studios, and public buildings as result of its flame retardant PVC outer sheath. Custom versions are also available with LSZH (low smoke zero halogen), PE (polyethylene) or PUR (polyurethane) sheaths, and with or without galvanised steel for rodent-protection when installed outside.
