WEP-9115T

DSPPA has developed a loudspeaker that can reportedly draw its power from 12V solar batteries or a wind power generator.

Intended for remote outdoor applications, the WEP-9115T incorporates a full-auto charge controller and batteries to power highly sensitive drivers. A built-in 5W digital amplifier and wireless receiver enable operation, allowing it to operate up to 5,000 metres away in temperatures ranging from -10℃ to +40℃.

Features of the all weather system include a low battery alarm indicator and a full-auto stable switch. Operation is enabled when either the  10W WEP9410S or 20W WEP9420S solar panel together with the WEP9115T 15W wireless PA transmitter are connected to the solar batteries, wind power generator or power supply adapter. The WEP-9115T is capable of producing a maximum SPL of 102dB.

The PC1028D digital SNR self adjuster and PC1028M signal detector have also been added to the DSPPA product catalogue, which together monitor ambient background noise in public places. When background levels rise, the loudspeaker can respond to detected changes in the signal to noise ratio in the amplifier. The 2U rack height unit weighs 5kg and includes front panel LEDs.

An MAG5402 audio-on-demand terminal is connected to the LAN network via EtherNet, allowing programmers to provide BGM music and paging from the MAG5488, whilst prioritising emergency evacuation announcements when necessary. The remote controllable network can also include paging stations can also provide messaging locally or the entire network depending on the level of announcement required and remote control management
