XEOS installation speakers from Proel

The new series includes three two-way surface-mount models; the XE35TB/TW with a 3.5-inch woofer, the XE55TB/TW, with a 5-inch woofer, and the XE65TB/W, with a 6.5-inch woofer.

The manufacturer reports the horn-loaded dome tweeters and the improved crossover filters provide a smooth and detailed response, which it claims makes the speakers suitable both for voice paging and background music applications. All of the three models feature a c-shaped bracket for installation in vertical or horizontal position.

Two square-shape two-way ceiling models are also available, the XE55CTX and the XE65CTX, featuring 5-inch and 6.5-inch coaxial speakers and 70V/100V/8-ohm operation. The round-shape ceiling models include the XE65CT, a two-way coaxial system with a 6.5-inch woofer, and the XE51CT, a full-range 5-inch model.

Also new from Proel is the SW Series range of sub-woofers, designed to complement full-range speakers, including the Net and Flash Series.

The SW Series includes two new models and an update to the existing Flash15S. Due to the variety of size, power and SPL, the SW sub-woofers can offer a low extension solution suited for any full-range speaker. The SW models feature large voice coil (VC) woofers and a band-pass design, and its Class-H and Class-D amplifier modules can generate up to 1,000W of continuous power.

The SW118H and SW115H models use 18 and 15-inch Celestion neodymium speakers, plus 1,000W and 500W Class-D amplifiers. The SW115 model has a 15-inch speaker with 350W Class-H amplifier.

All the modules include a stereo preamp section, 24dB/oct. crossover filters with selectable frequency and phase reverse switch. The cabinets are built with 15/18mm plywood and feature two or three metal handles and 75mm wheels.
