APG reinforces R&D with two new engineers

WORLD: Following on from its alliance with Active Audio, Charlotte Gegout and Maxence Castelain have become engineers at APG as it strengthens its core business. Ms Gegout will begin her role as research development engineer for the R&D department, while Mr Castelain is the company’s new client support engineer in an expansion of its sales department.
Ms Gegout boasts 10 years of experience as a sound technician in the entertainment industry before completing her degree at the Conservative Nation des Arts et Métiers. She graduated as an acoustical engineer and since joining APG, she has taken on a research project on the development of new technologies in acoustic loads.
Meanwhile Mr Castelain has a background as a freelance sound engineer, working for multiple rental stagers in France and Belgium for several years. Graduating as an engineer in 2015, he has spent a year at APG in the R&D department, working on the development of the new Uniline Compact range. In his new role, he will answer any technical and business queries on an international level, providing consultancy, demos, acoustical studies, product training and system start-up on site.
