Calibre appoints VP international sales

WORLD: British audio and video scaling manufacturer, Calibre, has announced Richard LaBerge as its vice president of international sales. Based in Montreal, Canada, Mr LaBerge began his career in computer programming and now has more than 20 years of experience in business management, leadership and product development, gained as co-founder of Sensio Technologies Inc, as well as handling marketing and lending at Desjardins. In his new role he will be responsible for expanding Calibre’s business into new markets. He will reportedly focus on increasing market share and presence in corporate A/V as well as growing OEM and own-label business, particularly in Asia.
‘LaBerge has the perfect mix of talent to lead Calibre’s international operations and to drive the company’s efforts in establishing itself as a worldwide preferred supplier of processing products,’ stated Tim Brooksbank, CEO at Calibre.
‘I will ensure the company grows on an unprecedented scale, building on its strong foundations of image processing to be the audiovisual business of tomorrow,’ added Mr LaBerge.
