ISE 2016 sets record attendance

WORLD: The post-show attendance figures from the first four-day Integrated Systems Europe exhibition chart a 10.7 per cent (6,338 person) increase on the 2015 edition. With a final count of 65,686 registered attendees and 1,103 exhibitors, this made ISE 2016 ‘the world’s largest A/V and systems integration tradeshow’, according to the organisers.

‘The volume of attendee traffic and its spread over the four days confirms our belief that the extra day was necessary and that it adds value for visitors and exhibitors,’ stated Integrated Systems Events managing director, Mike Blackman. ‘I’m delighted to say that the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and I would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed.’

ISE’s co-owners, CEDIA and InfoComm International, both reported satisfaction with the show and with the levels of interest in their onsite educational programmes.

‘Yet again I can say how proud we are to be associated with ISE and the unique position it holds today,’ offered David Labuskes, executive director and CEO, InfoComm International. ‘Our InfoComm conferences, master classes and FlashTrack education sessions drew excellent delegate numbers and offered ISE attendees an opportunity to experience a little of what InfoComm International can offer.’

‘This year’s exhibition confirmed ISE’s importance for manufacturers and integrators for the home. It is simply a “must attend” event,’ added CEDIA CEO, Vincent Bruno. ‘We were delighted with the response to our training sessions and to the 15 presentations we contributed in the Residential Solutions Theatre. Plus, we’ve had many companies sign up for CEDIA membership.’

Looking to next year, exhibitor and stand rebookings currently sit at 47,131 sq-m, a two per cent increase on the total space sold for the 2016 edition. Next year’s exhibition will take place from 7-10 February 2017.
