WORLD: K-array recently staged its annual Global Distributor Meeting (GDM) at its headquarters in Tuscany. The Italian manufacturer invited its distribution partners from around the world to the two-day event that included presentations, product demonstrations and an awards dinner.
The event started with a reception in which attendees from more than 50 countries were treated to Italian delicacies and Prosecco while given the opportunity to take part in a Formula 1 simulator. Following this, project consultant Daniele Mochi led a presentation, discussing digital steering and the benefits of the manufacturer’s Slim Array Technology (SAT) and Pure Array Technology (PAT). Product specialist Franceso Maffei then delivered a look at the K-array’s upcoming products that are slated for launch in 2017.
The awards dinner took place during the evening and highlighted the work of K-array’s distribution network. Awards included Best Large-Scale Application, which was won by Lotus Technologies for its work at the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul, and Most Creative Project, picked up by Procom Middle East for its project at Kids Level City Walk in Dubai.
‘We are confident that with the new products, our constant communication and your continuous support we will be heading to another great year and definite success,’ said Procom Middle East managing director, Charbel Zoghbi.
‘I strongly believe that the past few years, K-array has been evolving under the sign of creativity, innovation and productivity,’ noted K-array’s head of sales, Asia Pacific, Marc Vincent. ‘Our line of products is so diversified and so complete that we wanted to provide the opportunity for our distributors to network with the entire K-array family and build their knowledge.’
The event was deemed a success, as confirmed by Imre Selmeczi from Hungarian distributor Audio Partner Ltd: ‘I feel this was the most effective and useful meeting I have experienced at K-array. I really appreciated the fun and all the information I received during the GDM.’
