WORLD: Kramer will be hosting the third UC Panel session at ISE 2017 in Amsterdam. The session will explore the integration of A/V and IT, as well as the future of IP-based A/V technologies that utilise IT infrastructure and work methodologies.
The session is free to attend and can be found at at the UC Lounge, Stand A140 in Hall 11 of the RAI on Thursday 9th February at 4pm. Panellists include AVI-SPL’s vice president, global channels, Daniel Rogers, Cisco’s technology leader of collaboration, Johan Van Puymbrouck, Crestron director of enterprise technology Dan Jackson and Paul Krizan, product manager for networked A/V at Harman. They will be joined by Teecom principal Blair Parkin, Red Hat’s principal services architect, Ashley Azzopardi and Kramer’s own VP EMEA sales, Alain Wiedmer.
Tim Albright, founder and president of AVNation, will chair the discussion. ‘There’s never been a more exciting time for our industry – we are taking part in the shift of A/V towards IT and impacting technologies, the workforce and work disciplines,’ he said. ‘IT is becoming the new and daily reality of traditional A/V professionals. This shift drives integrators, consultants, manufacturers and project stakeholders to adopt IT strategies and skills for their teams. For IT professionals, who are becoming the new owners of A/V in their organisations, it provides familiar technologies and work methodologies which they all feel comfortable with.’
