Next-proaudio applies added quality control

WORLD: Next-proaudio has implemented a new quality control programme at its factory, which sees inspections and structured testing carried out at each stage of production line. This has been applied to reduce the common fails that occur on the final test at the end of the process.

Incoming materials and parts are subjected to thorough tests and evaluation to ensure components are fit for purpose before they are embedded in the product. The manufacturer has designed bespoke software to monitor and control this process, and to track each component throughout the production cycle.

Each finished product is then subjected to rigorous functionality, reliability and safety testing with all mechanical and aesthetic elements double-checked by a trained quality inspector. Automatic frequency response, polarity, Rubb & Buzz and distortion tests are carried out using custom software scripts and a final listening test is conducted by an audio technician. One final check is then made by the quality inspection manager to make sure there is no damage to the product or the box that it is sealed inside.
