Vinicio Tanoni 1924-2017

WORLD: Vinicio Tanoni, one of FBT’s founders, has passed away at the age of 92. Mr Tanoni died at his home in Recanati, surrounded by his family.
Mr Tanoni and Bruno Baldoni established FBT in 1963. The pair created a small workshop in a garage in which FBT’s first handmade guitar amps were originally produced. In the 1970s, FBT switched its attention from guitar and bass amplification to PA systems and has since gone on to win numerous awards for many of its pro audio designs.
‘From the early days they went through decades of hard work and dedicated attention to every single person inside our company,’ the company stated. ‘Vinicio has been an inspiration and a light for all of us. He will be deeply missed.’
