Concept Associates brings clarity to Agape Community Church

MALAYSIA: A recent project at the Agape Community Church in Negeri Sembilan has included the installation of Nexo Geo S12 loudspeakers. Church leaders decided to upgrade the audio system powering its sanctuary following on-site simulations and speaker demonstrations carried out by Concept Associates.
‘To ensure the audience experiences the best possible sound quality, the perfect sound solution is a must,’ explained Rico Young, the project sound engineer from Concept Associates. ‘We therefore used Nexo’s NS-1 simulation and configuration tools to be able to provide accurate schematics of the building and its audio needs. This ensures uniform SPL coverage of any Nexo system in any venue.’ In addition to proving coverage statistics, NS-1 also features a section defining mechanical constraints for flown system safety and generates reports for the system dimensions, weight and centre-of-gravity.
Following demonstrations, the sanctuary was equipped with left-right hangs each comprising three Nexo Geo-S1210s and a Geo-S1230, while low-end reinforcement comes from two LS18 subwoofers positioned underneath. The entire system is driven from a single Nexo NXAMP4x4C amplifier.
‘In terms of the quality of the sound reinforcement, cable installation, product testing and commissioning, the local distributor has provided very good support and reliability,’ concluded Pastor Ignatius, who also explains the system was selected based on price in comparison to reliability and sound clarity. ‘So far we are quite happy with the step up in quality of the sound, the even distribution and overall warmness it brings to worship services. Concept Associates has also been very helpful and quick in handling any on-site situations that arose.’
